About the 15 Hour USPAP Course

Welcome to the 15-Hour National USPAP Course, as developed by The Appraisal Foundation! Successful completion of this course (or equivalent) is required as part of the qualifying education requirements for new entrants into the appraisal profession.

Because this is an introductory level course, the goal of this course is not to make you a USPAP expert, nor will you be required to memorize all or part of the publication. Instead, our intent is to introduce you to USPAP and the fundamental obligations for ethical behavior and competent performance that are specified within USPAP. After completing this course, you will be better able to apply the requirements of USPAP in situations that occur during your day-to-day activities as a real property appraiser. By the conclusion of this course, you will not only be fluent in USPAP concepts and applications, but you will also be a MASTER of the material!

This course features video instruction by members of the Appraisal Standards Board and Appraiser Qualifications Board, as well as rich multimedia content, including video case studies, interactive student polling, and narrated chapter summaries. Please note that this course may not be taken by a licensed or certified appraiser in lieu of the 7-Hour USPAP Update Course.
