Q - Can I take a class without registering?
A - You can choose to "Sample this Course" from the Registration Options menu. This will allow you to work through the first few sections of any of our online appraisal courses. Q - Why is there a timer in my course?
A - Although most of our courses do not require you to spend a certain amount of time in each chapter, some states require the timer for regulatory purposes. The virtual classroom regulates by the quizzes at the end of each chapter. The quizzes at the end of each chapter are five (5) questions and in a multiple choice format. At the end of each course there is a final exam consisting of up to 30 questions for continuing education, again multiple choice. This feature allows you to move through the course at your own pace, no matter what that pace is! *Please note that Texas mortgage lending courses, and Kentucky Appraisal courses ARE regulated by the timer. You must stay active within each chapter for the specified time required, before the chapter quiz becomes available to you.

A - You may repeat a quiz as needed. If you do not pass the quiz when you take it, you can navigate back through the course to read any material you need to. You may take the quiz again at any time.

*Florida will only allow you to take the final exam two times. If you do not pass the course is reloaded to your *My McKissock* page free of charge so that you may take the course again.

Q - Why do the quizzes have different questions if I have to take it again?
A - Each five (5) question quiz at the end of the chapter has ten (10) possible questions. These questions are selected randomly every time you click the *Take Quiz* link. The final exam of thirty (30) questions has fifty (50) possible questions and is also randomly selected.

Please remember that once you click continue a new exam will open and you will not be able to review the course information. Please review the course material before clicking continue.

The State of Florida allows appraisal licensee's two opportunities to take a final exam at one time. This will give you two more opportunities to pass the final exam. Please refresh your *My McKissock* page in order to see the new course.
