State: AR    License: Appraisal Continuing Education Information: The Arkansas Appraisal Board requires that you take the National USPAP Update course in a traditional classroom setting. Arkansas Appraisers are required to take 28 continuing education hours every 24 months. Licenses are renewed every year, but CE is due to be reported every 2 years. State Registered Appraisers come due on 12/31 every year. The 15 Hour National USPAP course must be taken prior to their first annual renewal (12/31), unless the initial license was granted after July 1st, in which case the 15 Hour National USPAP must be taken by 12/31 of the next year. All subsequent education cycles will require 14 hours per year and the 7 hour National USPAP update every two years. Limitations: A maximum of 21 hours of elective continuing education may be taken via distance education.
