Funeral Directors are required to complete 12 continuing education hours every 24 months. Students with Funeral Director and Embalmer licenses are required to complete 24 continuing education hours every 24 months.
Limitations:
Illinois Funeral Director licensees may complete a maximum of 6 hours online. Funeral Director and Embalmer licensees may complete a maximum of 12 hours online.
