- On-Line Courses... State: ME    License: Appraisal Continuing Education Information: Maine licensees are required 14 hours annually. Maine is in the process of transitioning from a biennial to an annual renewal cycle. Group A: 290 of 720 licensees came due on 12/31/2009 and were required 28 hrs, including the 7 hour National USPAP Update (or Equivalent) course. Their next renewal will be 12/31/2010. Group B: 430 of 720 come due on 12/31/2010 and are required 28 hrs, including the 7 hour National USPAP Update (or Equivalent) course. Upon completion of this transitional period, Group A will have an annual expiration date of 12/31/2010 and Group B will have an annual expiration date of 12/31/2011. TRAINEES (67) are required 28 hours including the 7 hour National USPAP Update (or Equivalent) for each of the following Groups. Group C, 28 of approximately 67, hold biennial licenses that either expired between January 1, 2009 and October 1, 2009. Group D, 9 of approximately of the 67, hold biennial licenses that expired between October 1st and December 31, 2009.
