State: MN    License: Real Estate Continuing Education Information: Effective 7/1/10: The Minnesota Dept. of Commerce requires that you spend the approved credit hours in your online course. Please be sure that you thoroughly review the course material, participate in all activities provided, and take your time to correctly answer all quiz and exam questions. Our secure online final exam process ensures you will receive the proper credit for your course! Please note that your course will time out after 10 minutes of inactivity! Minnesota Realtors are required to obtain 30 hours of continuing education every 2 years. At minimum of 15 hours of the 30 credit hours must be completed during the first 12 months of the 24-month licensing period. Per License Renewal: 1 hour must include laws or regulations on agency representation and disclosure and 1 hour must include state & federal fair housing law, regulations, & rules, antidiscrimination laws, or housing needs of immigrant & under-served populations. Limitations: A licensee cannot receive credit for more than 8 hours of CE in any 24 hour period. All 30 hours may be completed online.
