- On-Line Courses... State: ND    License: Land Surveyor Professional Development Information: Provider # CPCAP-05. NCEES Approved Provider N0037. North Dakota Land Surveyors are required to take 30 PDHs (Professional Development Hours) every 24 months. At least twenty (20) PDH’s must be earned in technical subjects that directly safeguard the public’s health, safety and welfare including technical professional management subjects such as total quality process or technical engineering or land surveying software training. A maximum of ten (10) PDHs may be earned in non-technical professional management subjects such as ethics or administration oriented computer classes. McKissock is an approved continuing education provider for continuing professional competency education for engineering and surveying in North Dakota. The Board does not approve individual courses as it is up to the individual registrant to determine if the course work is relevant to his field of professional practice. Limitations: There is no limit on the number of hours permitted to be taken online.
