Oklahoma real estate agents must complete 30 hours of continuing education (CE) every three years to renew an active license, as required by the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission (OREC). The CE must include both core and elective topics.

Effective 6/1/2025, the CE requirement will be: 30 hours every 3 years.
1 hour is each of the following topics:
1 hour – Broker Relationships (BRA)
1 hour – Code and Rules (CAR)
1 hour – Fair Housing (FHR)
1 hour- Hot Topic
3 hours – Professional Conduct (PSC)
6 hours – Contracts and Forms (CAR)
The remaining 17 hours may be completed in elective or required categories.
CE must be completed before the license expiration date, which occurs every three years on the licensee’s original issue date. Failure to complete CE on time may result in license inactivation.
