The Uniform Appraisal Dataset (UAD) is a set of new reporting requirements that will be going into effect on 9/1/2011 for all single-family mortgage loans delivered to Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. FHA and VA will be implementing UAD as of 1/1/2012. Take one of our classes to learn about the UAD and potentially get CE credit toward the renewal of your appraisal certification!
This course provides specific information on the requirements of the UAD, including the new definitions for quality and condition ratings, as well as new abbreviations for view and location factors. The course also imparts general information about the UAD, including the types of report forms that are required to be UAD-compliant, as well as USPAP obligations related to intended users and report content. Examples of compliant and non-compliant language in reports will be provided.
