I feel like I learned a lot from this course. I'm young in the business so expert witness testimony is not on my "to-do" list anytime soon, but the course is challenging and it makes it very interesting to learn about this topic. It is more in depth on the litigation aspect of it rather than how it pertains to real property. There are numerous links to assorted articles & publishings that illustrate the trial environment.

The course itself was fine, unfortunately McKissock hasn't set up an easy system to take a proctored exam at an exam center, this means that you will have to organize it yourself and will involve several extra steps that courses with the appraisal institute don't have.

This was the best written and most comprehensive of the twelve courses I have taken towards certification. I wish all of them had had the same balance of theory and practical application. Well done!

I took a similar class from the Appraisal Institute a while ago. This class was vastly superior, better organized, and applied more common sense. I really appreciate that the instructor saw the importance of story telling, not being abrasive, and realistic views of how trials work. The AI instructor told the class if the jury isn't paying attention to you, drop your car keys on the floor to get their attention!! Really!
