Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is not a 7 hour course. It is more like a 14 hour course. Very in depth and covers the material thoroughly. There were times when I wished it was live to ask the teacher some questions. Anyhow a pretty good course and I got out of it what I was looking for. A refresher course on the cost approach.

Date published: 2020-08-03
Rated 4 out of 5 by from The course is worth your time even if you do not want to become an appraisal reviewer. The course helps you better understand how the reports you are writing relate to USPAP and what others would be using to determine the credibility of your report.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is an excellent course. Content was detailed, and I appreciate the ability to print certain pages or print the entire chapter. I enjoyed this instructor, he was experienced and gave an interesting presentation. I had a number of take-away's for my daily practice.

Date published: 2020-07-07
Rated 4 out of 5 by from This course is pointed most at the residential appraiser, but gives adequate time to commercial analysis

Date published: 2020-05-14
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to follow and understand
Date published: 2020-04-30
Rated 4 out of 5 by from The course was well designed and written in a "light-hearted" way that was not boring. The course allows the student to proceed at his/her own pace which is beneficial to those of us with decades of appraisal experience. The information in the course was comprehensive. My only criticism is that, in my opinion, the information regarding "retrospective" appraisals is misplaced sincere there is, in fact, no physical inspection of the property. Otherwise, one of the better courses I've taken.
Date published: 2020-04-05
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I highly recommend this course for both experienced appraisers, as well as for new appraisers
Date published: 2020-03-31
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Do not assume the continuing education time earned will be even close to the number of hours required to complete each course.
Date published: 2020-03-26
Rated 3 out of 5 by from This was not one of my favorite courses from this school.
Date published: 2020-03-19
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Will wait until I have visited with staff. Maybe I'm the problem.
Date published: 2020-03-17
Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was particularly interested in how they broke out "going concern value". Seems like it could be applicable to other property types.

7 hour USPAP class-how does Mr Bone handle the USPAP questions in the book-the class here in phoenix the appraisers read the questions out loud and give an answer-I am looking for another approach

Asked by: bud6878
Since we offer TAF’s USPAP, the only way we offer the class is on our web site or in a live classroom with an instructor. Depending on the state, we may have a live course being offered that would not require testing.
