MCK-US-IA-Appraisal-CE is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 2534.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This course covered the important points to know for HUD/FHA appraisal writing! Very knowledgeable and easy to go through the course!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent course, and yes, it did fulfill a CEU requirement, but I also had an interest in this line of work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This class would be very helpful for any new appraiser that wants to learn the basics of construction.
Date published: 2021-06-22
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Could be improved by removing the builder and his videos and adding a lot more discussion about how to actually develop an appraisal of such a property, rather than trivial information about already in some cases obsolete aspects of high end housing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Helpful information for expected courtroom situations, as an appraiser and otherwise
Date published: 2021-05-08
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great class! I think a good add on considering the current market would be to discuss current escalating lumber and construction prices and the reasons why and likelihood of continuance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It would be more to be able to follow along in a booklet with the course along with the course as presented. A glossary and definitions would also be helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I liked the course but was very frustrated that the videos continually froze up and had to be restarted. I did the recommended suggestions and spoke with IT, but still had problems. That was my only complaint with the course especially with the longer videos. I also had an issue with the finally exam in the last few questions. It would hesitate and not let me immediately move on to the next question.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from One of the better classes I've taken after 230 hours of appraisal classes. This one gives you excellent clarifications on how the appraiser lender and secondary market work together and what is expected of each.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This is THE WORST CE class I have ever taken. At first I was thinking it was the worst through Mckissock but it's the worth from any provider. I've never taken a class more filled with irrelevant data. I was really looking for valuable information I need to begin training new appraisers. This class was little more than administrative stats. I could look up such a stat when need be in seconds on line. I didn't need to spend hours memorizing THAT. I would like a portion of my tuition back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from glad you updated, with less emphasis on housing trends, stocks, etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great experience, very helpful and fluid in the delivery of information. Thanks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have been a residential appraiser for 30 years and I was still able to get good information out of this course. I take it, or one like it, each renewal as a refresher. It's easy to get complacent and that is dangerous in our profession. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great information and guidance for appraising manufactured homes, I learned a lot!
Date published: 2020-06-25
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fair quality course. Teaches theory, but concepts will rarely work in the real world unless you are dealing with metropolitan type areas where subdivisions generally include significant numbers of similar type properties that may or may not have only a few minor differences. Most markets do not have data that that is like that used in the illustrations. Therefore, the course is not really helpful in teaching methods that can be used in the real world.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a good course with solid information on specific divorce and estate appraisal requirements. Great review if you are currently doing this type of work. The specific requirements of IRS work is good as well.
