Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was surprised that I picked up a couple of things that I did not know and reminded of some things that I had forgotten..HGL

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This course is part of a series of three, and even though I have extensive experience in appraising high value and unique homes, I found this course to be well organized, comprehensive and relevant for appraising these types of properties. The information is up to date and will be of significant assistance in appraising not only these homes, but it was also a good review for appraising all residential properties.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like the course. Interesting examples of ways to extract market data when lack of good comps. I think there is a mistake on Chapter 7 page 19. Extraordinary example is certainly not the best an I believe wrong. Extraordinary is when you can not get into a room and you assume it is average condition like the rest of the house. Or Lots of personal items covering walls and floors and you assume no hidden defeats. You can assume a different zoning but that is hypothetical. Agreed? If so have someone change.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from i personally have a problem with question that are negative. Such as: What is the least likely.... or what is a False statement. Would have like a bit more tie in of USPAP to Divorce and Estate work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This one is really good for eliminating the myths promulgated by AMCs, Underwriters, other Appraisers, Realtors and others involved in the appraisal process. I read the Seller Guide as time allows but this really clarified a few issues I was still fuzzy about.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great refresher course in property inspection for seasoned appraisers. I learned something new: the ANSI guidelines for proper inspection of residential homes in different situations....
Date published: 2020-01-15
Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is essentially a course in Highest & Best Use, whereby determining the value of complex properties throws out the the normal methods used in the valuation of non-complex properties. I took Stan Brobacks Course " Appraising the Oddball" way back in time. He was a great instructor. You can see where this instructor was influenced in crafting this course. IT'S A GOOD ONE!!
