Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great introductory course in self storage appraisal. It addresses many special issues with this type of property and how to handle them in the appraisal. If you are working on this property type take this course.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I like your package approach but wish that I could have a selection within the package.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would highly recommend this course both to old hands and newer commercial appraisers. There is lots in here which is not in the beginning courses or out of the beginning books on the subject. Great summary of issues for restaurants especially thinking about going concern and F.F.& E. issues. After 35 years of doing restaurant appraisals I would very highly recommend this course.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have been a Certified Residential Appraiser for 15 years. I exclusively used a different on-line education service for my CE classes. It was very limiting but I was used to it. I decided to do some research and after looking at a few options, chose McKissock. I had questions so I called customer service and I knew early on in the conversation that I found the right service for me. I signed up for the auto renewing option. I just completed my CE classes for me renewal and I enjoyed every class. McKissock's format for USPAP while likely pre-determined was still better than the previous service I used. I couldn't be happier!

Date published: 2019-09-17
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well worth the time, however discussions regarding commercial valuations are well above any residential appraiser's comprehension
Date published: 2019-09-13

Date published: 2019-09-03
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I actually enjoyed this course. gives a nice perspective on non-lending appraisals. I do very little non-bank/lending work as I got tired of chasing my fees and dealing with unhappy people but this was an interesting course.
Date published: 2019-09-02
Rated 4 out of 5 by from None
Date published: 2019-09-01
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was a solid overview of properties subject to ground leases, including a refresher on principles of the sales comparison and income approaches to value.
Date published: 2019-08-31
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Some useful ideas, but basically using formulas to arrive at a pretty much preconceived ending. Art and science is the key. Being objective, knowing your area and having a good knowledge of construction costs and quality much more important.
Date published: 2019-08-19
Rated 4 out of 5 by from This course has more examples of the information discussed than most appraisal CE course, but still not enough.
Date published: 2019-08-15
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Same old techniques with cherry picked data that don't work well in real life applications. I'd love to an instructor gather data and deal with the disparities that render matched pairs unreliable at best.
Date published: 2019-08-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great class very informative and comprehensive.
Date published: 2019-08-09

Date published: 2019-08-07
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The website is very easy to navigate, the material is well organized and there is a progress bar at the bottom of the screen.
