Rated 4 out of 5 by from This course was too long for the amount of CEU's and material references are dated. Some of the material should reflect or refer to common industry standards.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I thought it was very informative and fairly easy to understand. However, there were quite a few grammatical and spelling errors which I found annoying and sometimes confusing when trying to understand the lesson. Some of the graphical details, charts, graphs, tables, etc. were also of very poor quality making it difficult to read some of the symbols and other pertinent information. Overall, the price was reasonable and the course was a good value.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The course was very good, but be ready to be quizzed. There are quizzes after every chapter and then a final exam. If you got to this website from a paper mailing your received in the mail, the final exam is nothing like the exam in the booklet you received in the mail. All new questions. However, the questions are fairly simple, all you need to do is read the materials and you should be able to pass the questioner easily.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Adequate. Typical for the courses on this site, author pulled text and graphics from reference materials without a QC effort, resulting in poor visual quality, incorrect references, and lack of explanation and detail.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This is a dated course with military standards used with no corresponding ACI codes given. There are several typographical errors, and questions are very vague.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This class will give an overview of the factors to be considered in the slab on grade design and general ideas of the type of joints and where need to be used. however, for me this class came short in the design process of its title. Maybe an additional class should be offered with more detailed design process and more clear example to follow.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This course is just adequate. There were no problems to solve in the testing. This should be mandatory to verify that the student has the required understanding of the course material. Also, some of the printed booklet material has misprints and some information is missing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The course material is full of errors. Needs careful editing. Much of the information is taken verbatim from military technical manuals. That is fine but do I really need approval by HQDA or DEMP to use a reinforced floor slab?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This course was terrible! Do not take this course unless you design FOUNDATION SLABS for airplane hangers or storage facilities for the Military, since those are the only people who might gain anything from this course. It is a nice copy and paste job from military Tech Manuals and the material is dated.
