Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was a good over view of construction that is beneficial for appraisers.
Date published: 2021-01-18
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This course is so in depth, it provides excellent examples that apply to our routine methods which we all sometimes become lax on.
Date published: 2020-12-20
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was probably the most useful course I have taken so far. I have no idea why they don't teach this stuff to apprentice appraisers in my state.
Date published: 2020-04-29
Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's a decent course. Basically it boils down to the fact that if you do an "evaluation" as an appraiser, you are doing an appraisal and you have to follow USPAP. Meanwhile any other useful idiot out there could basically do these evals without the burden of USPAP or state regulators. The whole situation doesn't make much sense to me.
Date published: 2020-04-28
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good (I guess) for appraisers East of the Mississippi.
Date published: 2020-04-26
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well compiled USPAP course. I learned a lot about the new changes.
Date published: 2020-04-25
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This course had multiple agenicies ( places ) identified to help in review appraisal "how to" ; answer to question and information.
Date published: 2020-04-24
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really enjoyed this course. This was the first course that fully explored other options and how to adjust for and address when properties are not cookie cutter and clean.
Date published: 2020-04-11
Rated 1 out of 5 by from I thought this course would give good tips and solid foundation for site adjustments. It went through everything we learned in education to get licensed. Also only the last couple chapters dealt with adjustments. And all examples were clear and clean cut which is not what happens in the real world and doesn't give appraisers a guide to deal with real world problems. Some of the links went to 'not found pages.'
Date published: 2020-04-10
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This course is one of the best review courses I have taken, it really makes you think and study.
Date published: 2020-04-05
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was a good course, both as a refresher and by providing different ways to look at a problem.
Date published: 2020-04-05
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This course was a good refresher on proper work file organization and a good reference.
Date published: 2020-04-03
Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you want to know the basics requirements of being an expert witness, I recommend this course. It is full of "real-life" experiences and has references and links throughout the course. Very worthwhile course!
Date published: 2020-04-01
Rated 4 out of 5 by from The course was worth my money and time spent. I picked up a lot of useful information.
Date published: 2020-03-31
Rated 4 out of 5 by from USPAP is a very time consuming & tiresome course.Take this course when you are not tired & have the time to study the information-I learned a lot-have forgot some of this. Allow much more than 7 hours. I do not like the timer--I was rushed on the test and missed questions that I new--it was very distracting for me.
Date published: 2020-03-29
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This course is a good refresher for us old timer's and essential for the new appraiser.
