Rated 5 out of 5 by from This course is great for people who don't prefer to just read the material in order to learn. My favorite part of this course was that for every single page/chapter, there is a video that plays on the side that says the exact same thing that the text portion of the chapter says, word for word, however, the video has a animated simple video and a pleasant voice actor. In my opinion the consistent and quality video on the same page is the only reason why I made it through the course without hating the process. The videos made learning much more enjoyable. But that is also my learning style, you could be different, which is why this platform is great because they offer both. I also found the understanding checks / quizzes, kept me engaged and helped me solidify what I was learning each section without being too much (only approx. 4 questions each quiz during the chapter and 8 questions for the end of chapter quiz). I took note of all the questions and answers and I plan to use these to study, like many others have done, using Quizlet. Many people have already input and created study sets if you don't want to take the time to make your own :) overall, I highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Incredibly entry level course that still manages to stay interesting, once you're past the "this government program does this, that program does that" section. Can have the entire course dictated to you, which helps massively with accessibility.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We would have to take the test to really write a good review. I'm not too sure yet on how much the course is similar to the actual test.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Overall a pretty good course though most of it is very definition heavy rather that explaining the concepts. The definition wording is taken more or less from various dictionaries and explanations are pretty brief. You need to do a bit of your own research to fully understand all the concepts especially if you are unfamiliar with the real estate world.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Didn't like the fact that i had to sit 25hrs in front of the screen when i was done in 21, but i guess that is Florida's deal. Good course material, easy to navigate, overall not bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The course was pretty educational. Some of the content was new to me where some of it I already knew. You need to make sure to pay attention to the definitions and other content because you will get asked the information on the midway quizzes and the final chapter tests.

I will be taking the Basic Appraisal Principles Class Online. It says that I will have to take a 3-hour test in a monitored setting. What exactly does that mean and am I able to take the test at my job or will I have to go somewhere to take it?

I am going to be taking the current classes, basic appraisal principles, basic appraisal procedures, and the national USPAP course. To become an appraiser trainee. Are these classes self paced/ fully independent? or is there a schedule and a teacher?

Asked by: Maxcianna
I just completed it in 2 weeks at my own pace. There is no teacher, you just log in and do however much/little you choose to that day. I do recommend you give yourself time to finish full chapters, as stopping in the middle of one could get confusing when it comes to the check your understanding quizzes and chapter quiz.

Is the Final Exam also online or is it in person?

Asked by: MichaelR
RE CE & APP CE - Any online courses will be taken completely online. Any classroom courses will be classroom only, no tests or exams are required. APP QE- Online courses will be taken completely online UNLESS a proctored exam is required. Then they have the option to complete it online or on paper.
