Job aid: AIR Standards
The “Appraiser Independence Requirements (AIR) Standards” job aid gives a summary of the rules that protect appraisers. The AIR standards went into effect in October 2010. They were designed to protect appraiser independence and consumers by preventing parties from pressuring appraisers to produce a desired property value.
