Online Info

The first renewal of your Ohio home inspector license will be occurring between August 1, 2022, and October 30, 2023. Normally, you would be responsible for a total of forty-two (42) hours of home inspector continuing education—fourteen (14) hours annually for each year of your three-year term. However, given the impact of the on-going health emergency, you will only be responsible for completing fourteen (14) hours of approved continuing education within the twelve months before your renewal date. This exception is only applicable for this first renewal period. We anticipate returning to the forty-two (42) hour requirement starting in your second three-year renewal period.
