Inspecting Water Heaters

Water heaters are one of the most important appliances in ahome; they can also be very complicated and expensive. Water heaters are often reliedupon just like a furnace—unfortunately, they seem to be the most likely tofail. Due to the reality of liability in the home inspection industry, it isimportant to have a thorough understanding of water heating systems in order tofulfill your due diligence to your client. 

Thepurpose of this course is to prepare home inspectors to confidently performwater heater evaluations and properly present their findings to their clients. Inthis course, we will discuss the following: different types of water heaters, how each type of system operates, individual components of each type of system, how to perform an inspection properly, and how to present your findings to the customer.
