Mitigating Terrorist Attacks for Engineers and Building Designs

In this course, students will explore nationally recognized strategies for mitigating terrorist attacks and damage caused by these attacks through building design. Students will explore weapon effects, common building damage, and construction and design strategies designed to lessen the effects of these attacks. This course will discuss explosive attacks as well as chemical, biological, and radiological attacks.
