Observations on the Performance of Critical Facilities

This course presents some observations on the performance of critical facilities during Hurricane Katrina that identify the various ways building and equipment damage, as well as loss of municipal services, can disrupt facility operations. All information for this course was taken from “Risk Management Series Design Guide for Improving Critical Facility Safety from flooding and High Winds” FEMA 543 / January 2007.
