2023-2024 Hawaii Core A
The purpose of this course is to update real estate licensees on the Hawaii legislative laws that passed in 2023 that impact real estate transactions. This course also covers the property condition disclosure laws and requirements that licensees must adhere to when selling and buying residential real estate in Hawaii.

2023-2024 Hawaii Core B
The purpose of this course is to update real estate licensees on Hawaii legislative laws that passed in 2024 that impact real estate transactions. This course also covers key provisions of license law for which Hawaii real estate licensees must adhere and how real estate laws are enforced in Hawaii.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS
• Find out about updates made in 2024 to Hawaii law that impact residential real estate buying and selling.
• Learn what RICO is and RICO’s role under state law.
• Gain and better understanding of the laws and regulations pertaining to real estate licensees under which RICO and the Hawaii Real Estate Commission have enforcement authority with a focus on prohibited acts under HRS 467-14 and licensee rules under HAR 16-99-3.
• Learn when and how Hawaiian property-specific laws, such as the Condominium Property Act and Uniform Land Sales Practices Act, are applicable to real estate licensees.
• Become familiar with the RICO complaint process specific to what happens when a complaint is filed, the top complaints in Hawaii real estate, and the purpose of the Hawaii Real Estate Recovery Fund.
• Review the benefits of Hawaii Real Estate Commission bulletins that will help you stay in compliance.
• Lean about a new provision that allows for license portability of servicemembers and their spouses across state lines

This course was created and designed to train and instruct REALTORS® on the practical application of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics and fulfills the REALTOR® Triennial Ethics Requirement.
Every three years, the National Association of REALTORS® requires members to complete a REALTOR® Code of Ethics course in order to remain in good standing with their local, state, and national associations.
