This course is designed to fulfill continuing education credit for real estate brokers in Nevada. This course presents an overview of those business issues and practices that are most commonly the basis for lawsuits and/or complaints to the real estate commission. It outlines the most significant areas of risk, and provides specific policies and procedures licensees can adopt to minimize their risk, and help in their defense if they are named in a complaint. Specifically, participants will discuss agency and disclosure issues, fair housing, earnest money, and breach of contract.
