Current Issues in Washington Residential Core 2022-2023
The Washington State Department of Licensing, Real Estate Education Unit, has outlined the 2022/2023 Core Course curricula specifically designed to provide a mandated three-hour legislative, legal, and business practices update for real estate professionals. This material was adopted by the Commission on September 15, 2021, to be implemented as of January 1, 2022.
The course will be outlined in three (3) sections:
Chapter 1: Forms Updates
Chapter 2: Legislative Update
Chapter 3: Business Practices Updated and Professional Standards
With this in mind, this course will help Washington real estate licensees to become more familiar with state statutes, administrative rules, and overall best practice scenarios. In addition, this course will emphasize the importance of recognizing how each of the aforementioned components can work together as highly integral factors in the modern-day real estate practice.
Going Green: Elements of an Eco-friendly Home
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:
- Learn how homebuyers can reduce their environmental footprint
- Examine the costs of sustainable materials
- Explore pros and cons to eco-friendly materials and homes
Ethics in the Age of Disruption
Every three years, the National Association of REALTORS® requires members to complete a REALTOR® Code of Ethics course in order to remain in good standing with their local, state, and national associations.
Performing Quality BPOs
