American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI)

The American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) is North America's oldest, largest and most respected professional society of home inspectors. This not-for-profit professional association establishes and advocates high standards of practice and a strict code of ethics for the member community.

All ASHI inspectors are required to earn 20 hours of continuing education credits each year.

National Association of Home Inspectors, Inc. (NAHI)

The National Association of Home Inspectors, Inc. (NAHI) was established in 1987 as a nonprofit association to promote and develop certified and licensed home inspectors in the professional home inspection industry. The National Association of Home Inspectors strives to promote excellence and professionalism in the Home Inspection industry to provide a home inspector standards of practice and a code of ethics for home inspectors in the USA.

All NAHI inspectors are required to earn 16 hours of continuing education credits each calendar year.

International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI)

The International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) is the world's most elite, non-profit inspection association. This not-for-profit professional association establishes and advocates high standards of practice and a strict code of ethics for the member community.

All InterNACHI inspectors are required to earn 24 hours of continuing education credits each calendar year.

California Real Estate Inspection Association (CREIA)

The California Real Estate Inspection Association (CREIA) is a voluntary, non-profit public-benefit organization of real estate inspectors. CREIA’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice are recognized by the California Business and Professions Codes and are considered the standard of care by the real estate industry and legal profession in the state.

All CREIA members are required to earn 30 hours of continuing education credits each year. Up to 10 hours of online continuing education credits may be used each year.
