REALTORS® are required to provide a valid certificate of course completion to their local associations. The course must be one provided by a local, state, or national REALTOR® Association.
The deadline for all REALTORS® to complete the mandatory Code of Ethics course is 12/31/2021 and every three-year period following that deadline.

Commercial Real Estate 101
Whether you are new to commercial real estate or you are still trying to decide if a career in commercial real estate is for you, this course will provide you with a foundational understanding of commercial real estate.
In this course, you can start down the road to understanding commercial real estate, also referred to as investment real estate. It’s worth noting that the context of real estate, the terms commercial and investment are commonly used interchangeably. We’ll discuss commercial real estate and investment real estate at a high level, looking at the marketplace and some of the pros and cons of dealing in commercial and investment properties. We’ll look at leases and we’ll discuss how commissions are paid on commercial real estate transactions.
By necessity, the commercial real estate industry has developed its own language to describe the market and properties for sale. The language of commercial real estate may contain some unfamiliar real estate terms, but as you move through this course, you will become familiar and comfortable with these terms.
