Beginning with the 2027 renewal cycle Professional Land Surveyors must complete at least 30 Continuing Education Hours (CEH) during each 2-year reporting period. 

  • Licenses expire October 31st in odd-numbered years; however, the reporting period for professional land surveyors to complete their continuing education is based on calendar years.
  • Professional land surveyors who received their initial license through the examination method during the current license period are not required to complete CE until after the first renewal of their license.

The Board does not pre-approve CE activities, courses, or programs. Licensees are responsible for ensuring that CE courses comply with the Board’s requirements.
