California Appraisal Laws, Regulations, and Cultural Competency

This course was developed to keep licensed and certified California real estate appraisers informed and up to date on both federal and state laws and regulations. This course is designed to comply with the requirements established by California for each state-licensed or certified real property appraiser to complete four (4) hours of education on federal and state laws and regulations and one (1) hour on cultural competency.   Laws and regulations provide a basis for everything that appraisers do in California.  There are myriad laws and regulations that require compliance, both at the state and federal levels. Cultural competency is also necessary for appraisers. This 5-hour course consists of five chapters. 

Course access is available for 6 months from the day it is opened. All courses, regardless of whether they have been opened, expire two years from the date of purchase. Extensions are available for purchase within 30 days of a course expiring. No extensions will be granted after this period.
