This course is designed to meet the mandatory two-hour continuing education requirement for the Michigan Board of Real Estate Appraisers.  It provides an historical overview of the enabling legislation that created the need for licensing, and details the pertinent information in various articles of the Occupational Code pertaining to real estate appraisers.  It also covers the structure and operation of the Michigan Board of Real Estate Appraisers, and the requirements for various licensing levels, continuing education requirements, and duties of a licensed appraiser.

Course access is available for 6 months from the day it is opened. All courses, regardless of whether they have been opened, expire two years from the date of purchase. Extensions are available for purchase within 30 days of a course expiring. No extensions will be granted after this period.
