In all states if you have completed 200 hours of training to become a certified residential appraiser, you will be required to take an additional 100 hours of education to upgrade your license and become a certified general appraiser.
Depending on your study habits and study goals 100-hours could be completed as quickly as a little under three weeks stydying 8 hours/day. Most students spend an average of 1 hour/day studying. At that rate you could complete your courses in just over 3 months.
