Home inspector registrations are issued on a calendar year basis extending from January 1st through December 31st of each year.
All fully completed items required for registration renewal must be received by the Board no later than December 1 of the year in which the registration expires.
Fourteen (14) hours of continuing education coursework shall be completed to fulfill annual registration renewal requirement.
Classroom Courses:
At least eight (8) hours of coursework must be completed in person or in a synchronous format by the home inspector with a Board approved instructor teaching the course face-to-face.
Distance Learning Courses:
No more than six (6) hours of completed coursework may be submitted for registration renewal credit that is completed by written correspondence or through any means where the home inspector does not have the ability to communicate/interact with the instructor in a live real-time setting.
