West Virginia Professional Land Surveyors are required to complete 8 professional development hours annually.

Every four years, a licensee must complete a minimum of 2 hours on Minimum Technical Standards and a minimum of 2 hours in Professional Ethics at a seminar approved by the Board. 

Online Limitations

Mandatory courses must be taken in a classroom setting. Mandatory courses are not allowed to be taken online with the exception of out of state licensees who may request a cd-rom from the board.
