Here's what you need to renew your Michigan Professional Engineers license

Online Info

Michigan licensees are required to complete 30 hours of continuing education every biennial cycle (from initial certification).  of the 30 hours, at least 2 hours of continuing education must be earned in ethics, as it relates to professional engineering.

Licensees will not be required to send in proof of continuing education activities to the Department when renewing a license. However, a licensee must maintain records of continuing education hours earned for 4 consecutive years for audit purposes.
