Fundamentals of Heat Exchangers and Fired Heaters
This course provides Professional Engineers with a fundamental understanding of Heat Exchangers and Fired Heater components, design, operations, maintenance, and inspection.
Each chapter expands the student's knowledge about the individual components of these systems, their purpose, and other meaningful characteristics.
Once the students have learned the fundamentals of these systems they will continue their journey with the basic operations of each system. Additionally, common issues in operations will be covered along with troubleshooting issues for each system. Lastly, each chapter will wrap up with a fundamental level of testing, cleaning, and maintenance for these systems.
If you have ever wondered how exchangers and heaters operate and want to gain fundamental knowledge that is broad-based but detailed enough to provide learning value, then this course is for you.
A fundamentals course means that the Professional Engineer will be given an introduction to basic concepts for exchangers and heaters. This is not a course for learning how to design exchangers and heaters. This course is very beneficial for engineers who will be working around these systems, managing projects, or departments where they will encounter exchanger and heater equipment.
Additional training and experience will be required to advance beyond the fundamentals obtained in this training module. All engineering professionals will benefit from this training obtaining the vocabulary necessary to discuss exchangers and heaters and ask effective design review questions. This will apply to quality reviews, design reviews, and equipment inspections. We know you will gain knowledge and value from this course.
