Additional training and experience are required to advance beyond the fundamentals obtained in this training module. All engineering professionals will benefit from this training to obtain the knowledge and vocabulary to discuss any gasket.
- Fundamentals of Process Safety Management for Engineers 3
The objectives of this course are to provide a fundamental overview of Process Safety Management (PSM) as outlined in the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHAs) regulation 29 CFR 1910.119. It includes managing highly hazardous chemicals in the workplace. Professional engineers are primary caregivers in the application of this standard, impacting every discipline of engineering practice. This standard applies to many manufacturing industries beyond petroleum and chemical production.
- Fundamentals of Valves for Professional Engineers 3
The objectives of this course are to provide a fundamental overview of valves as outlined by the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and the American Petroleum Institute (API). All engineering disciplines will be involved with valves at some juncture in their career.
