The purpose of this course is to present practical guidance for the repair and upgrading of earthquake-damaged buildings with primary lateral-force-resisting systems. The guidance consists of a policy framework for facilitating the determination of the appropriate scope of repair or upgrading measures. The course also includes outlines of specific repair techniques that can address the component damage common to these buildings.
