Beginning with the 2026 renewal cycle, Professional Engineer license expiration dates are transitioning from annual renewal to a biennial (two year) renewal schedule, with standardized January or July expiration dates.

  • The current 2025-2026 PDH requirements are in place for your 2026 renewal, 15 PDH of which at least 1 must be ethics.
  • If your next renewal is less than two years then the current 1 year requirement is still in place for your 2027 or 2028 renewal.
  • If your next renewal is two years or more then the new 2 year PDH requirements are in place for your 2028 or 2029 renewal. The two year continuing education requirement is 30 PDH of which 2 must be ethics.
