•16.4(1) All individual real estate licenses are issued for three-year terms, counting the remaining portion of the year of issue as a full year. All individual licenses expire on December 31 of the third year of the license term.

Duplicate Courses: Per 193E—16.4(3) During each three-year renewal period a course may be taken for credit only once. A course may be repeated for credit only if the course numbers and instructors are different.
Expiration Date of Course: Course expiration dates vary but are generally 6 months after enrollment date.
Final Exam: In accordance with 193E—17.10(4), a passing score of 80 percent is required for course credit to be granted. There is no limit to the number of times a final examination may be taken to achieve a passing score.
Certificate: With few exceptions, online course completion certificates are available for download at course conclusion and posted directly to your student dashboard.
Due to COVID-19; The requirement that only 24 CE hours can be taken via distance education is temporarily suspended for all licenses set to expire on December 31, 2020 and December 31, 2021. All 36 CE hours may be completed via distance education.
