Here's what you need to renew your Maryland Real Estate license
The information below is a summary of the minimum requirements set forth by the Maryland Real Estate Commission. For a more detailed requirements breakdown, please see the board's site.
If you hold Real Estate licenses in multiple states, please make sure to check each state's requirements.
Maryland Real Estate: Broker, Designated Broker, Team Leader
Residential and Commercial Licensees must take 3 hours in Legislative, 3 hours in Agency, 3 hours in Broker Supervision and 3 hours in Ethics. Licensees with a Residential Designation must also complete an additional 1.5 credit hour in Fair Housing.
Maryland Real Estate: Sales Agent and Associate Brokers
All Residential and Commercial Licensees must complete 3 hours in Ethics, 3 hours in Agency, and 3 hours in Legislative. Licensees with a Residential Designation must also complete an additional 1.5 hour in Fair Housing.
