All New Salesperson Licensees, other than new Salesperson Licensees previously licensed in another state, shall complete the twelve (12) hours in the first twelve months of licensure. Effective the renewal period beginning May 1, 2022, the twelve (12) hours shall be completed no later than 90 days after the date of issuance.
Hours Required by Delaware Real Estate Commission: 12 hours.

oThree (3) hours in professional standards. (New Salesperson Module 1)
oThree (3) hours in agreement of sale and buyer representation. (New Salesperson Module 2)
oThree (3) hours in real estate documents and seller representation. (New Salesperson Module 3)
oThree (3) hours in real estate professionalism. (New Salesperson Module 4)
Required Course Evaluation Form: The Delaware Real Estate Commission requires all Real Estate licensees to complete & submit a course evaluation form provided at the end of each course prior to receiving a certificate of completion.
Seat Time: The Delaware Real Estate Commission requires a timing device for all distance education courses to ensure that courses cannot be completed in less time than the approved credit hours. Please note that your course will time out after several minutes of inactivity.
Expiration Date of Course: Course expiration dates vary but are generally 6 months after enrollment date.
Certificate: With few exceptions, online course completion certificates are available for download at course conclusion and posted directly to your student dashboard.
Due to COVID - License renewal dates will remain the same. If during the online renewal process, a licensee declares that the state of emergency has impacted their ability to complete CEs, they will be given until sixty days after the lifting of the state of emergency to complete the CEs for this renewal cycle.
