Jeffrey S. Caudill, P.E., CSP has nearly 40 years of experience in the engineering profession, working in a wide variety of roles, including consulting design principal engineer, engineering design manager, QC Manager, and EHS&S manager. Currently, he is a Corporate Safety and Health Managing Director and technical writer, publishing articles for the oil and gas industry on process safety culture, incident investigation techniques, and auditing and management of change. He is published in “Hands on Safety for Hands on Tools and is a contributor to CCPS’ book, “Recognizing and Responding to Normalization of Deviance.” Mr. Caudill received a B.S. in Industrial Technology, Safety & QA/QC emphasis in 1991 from Morehead State University and a B.S. in Civil Engineering Environmental-Hydrology-Geotechnical-Construction emphasis from the University of Kentucky. He earned an MC in Project Management from George Washington University in 2008 and is a certified Root Cause Analysis trainer.
