It’s McKissock’s policy to provide an appropriate environment to optimize all learning activities. All online courses are presented through the internet. Any individuals with private, business or public (e.g. library) access to the internet are potential participants.
For individuals that have disabilities which make reading difficult, text can be sized up by using internet browser software if needed. Courses with audio instruction also include text. All courses have a PDF copy of an easily-read document, which alleviates the need for page turning on the internet.
If a disability precludes reading, the student may access the courses through audiotapes. You can request an audiotape through email or fax. All online courses also provide an email address that participants may use to ask questions of the instructor, which allows for clarification of questions before taking the post-test.
