What order should I take my Appraisal Qualifying or Upgrade courses?

Please note that you can take your courses in any order. However, many of our instructors recommend the following order. Be sure to check with your state requirements for any restrictions.

Certified Residential Upgrade

  3. Residential Sales Comparison and Income Approaches
  4. Residential Report Writing and Case Studies
  5. Statistics, Modeling, and Finance
  6. Appraisal Subject Matter Electives

Certified General Upgrade

  1. General Appraiser Market Analysis and Highest and Best Use
